Guest preferences, saved places, searches and notes are stored in your browser. They remain on that device unless you sign in and enable account syncing.

Online accounts

When online accounts are activated, your verified email identifies your account. Your preferences, shortlist, saved searches and notes are stored privately against your user ID. Private notes and important locations are excluded from public share links.

Weekly email

Email recommendations require a separate opt-in. The service uses saved preferences and recommendation history to select relevant places and avoid repetition. Each email includes an unsubscribe link. Account creation does not subscribe you automatically.

Sharing

Location and article links contain public page or location identifiers. Comparison links contain the selected public place IDs. Review a shortlist before sharing it.

Delete or export

You can clear guest information through your browser storage settings. Signed-in accounts can be deleted from My account when the service is active. Deletion removes private profile and email records.

External services

The map and location guides can request information from mapping and official-data providers. Following a property, journey-planning or other external link takes you to an independent service with its own privacy terms. Account infrastructure uses Supabase when configured. Email delivery uses the configured delivery provider.
